Who Wants More Sex?

Stress impacts what goes on in the bedroom.

You know that a good night’s sleep can help reduce stress but last week we were also told that stress is impacting our sex lives too.

BBC Radio 5 live conducted some research in to our attitudes towards sex and relationships and stress was rated the most common problem in the bedroom. 45% people’s sex lives are negatively impacted by stress – more than any other reason such as social media, pornography and reality TV.

A study published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine showed that the longer women slept, the more they were aroused during sex. It also showed that an extra hour of sleep can lead to a 14 percent increase in the chances of having a sexual encounter the following day.

And with 72% of #eventprofs experiencing sleep problems according to the Stress Matters 2017 white paper, it is an issue for the events industry.

So if you don’t care enough about other symptoms you might experience from stress, join the Stress Matters pledge scheme for better sex!
