Grey Down Arrow
Clairon has partnered with Stress Matters to deliver your MHFA Support Programme. This hub is the first port of call for Clairon MHFAiders to access the tools, resources and information you need to offer the best support to your co-workers.

Support For You

As an MHFAider at Clairon you can access support from one of the Stress Matters team following an MHFA conversation or to get guidance on an ongoing situation.

Email us on claironmhfa@stressmatters.org.uk and one of the team will get back to you within 24 hours (Mon – Fri, 9am – 6pm). If you’d like someone to call you back, ensure you share your phone number and ideal call back time.

You may wish to reach out to:
  • Get support for yourself: MHFA conversations can fill your stress container and they may have an adverse affect on your own wellbeing. Talking through the conversation with one of the Stress Matters team can help to alleviate that stress.
  • Get guidance on how to provide support: Perhaps you're unsure what to do next with an MHFA conversation or you're unsure how to approach someone in the first place. We'll guide you through it so you feel comfortable and confident.
  • Let us know about concerning behaviour: If you're concerned about the conduct of an MHFA or boundaries being broken and don't feel comfortable telling someone internally, you can let us know anonymously.

MHFA Support Quarterly Meetings

Once a quarter we invite you to join an online Teams call. This is an interactive call and a great opportunity to meet other Clairon MHFAs. It’s important to join this call if you can. You’ll get an opportunity to:

  • Get updates on MHFA, Clairon and the Support Programme
  • Share your experiences of practicing MHFA at Clairon
  • Suggest and discuss ideas for improving Mental Health at Clairon
  • Practice ALGEE with a bespoke case study

Share Your MHFA Experiences

One thing we love to do is share positive, inspirational and supportive stories of how you have used your MHFA skills to support someone.

Have you supported a coworker with the knowledge and skills gained in your MHFA training? Your MHFA story has the potential to inspire and help others make mental health conversations part of our everyday life. If you’re comfortable sharing your experiences, we would love to hear from you.
